August 12, 2021 Day 32
I'm super excited for tomorrow's appointment with Patrick! Hopeful/wishful thinking that he can help my back pain with the Accupuncture, and not take away my peanut butter! haha.
This week it's been kind of fun to go over the last month with friends and clients that are interested in hearing about it! It's certainly a little harder than I thought to keep track of how I'm actually feeling. My mindfulness practices of really paying attention to my body hasn't been very good at all. It would almost be easier if I had like one big symptom that I was trying to watch go away. However, I have just a handful of minor ones and am not sure that I actually have written them down besides in my own little note section on my phone that I use to remind myself of what to ask either Dr. when I am in their offices. So here are my "most of the time" minor symptoms that I am hopeful to see go away:
Constipation (pretty much have had my whole life - but not many stomach pains or other ailments with that)
Fissures/Proctalgia Fugax (ongoing from a young age)
Sporadic reproductive health issues (pain during ovulation, abnormal periods - even with IUD) (Different symptoms since middle school)
Swollen/Purple toe(s) - (Super sporadic with no rhyme or reason high school on - Patrick says this is a histamine reaction to something in my body)
Inability to take full deep breaths - (whole life - was initially told exercised induced asthma but that wasn't accurate at all, then I thought maybe it was anxiety once I was an adult and knew what anxiety was, then I thought maybe it was allergies) (I can take them once in awhile but not always when I want too)
Alleriges - (guessing my whole life but more recently after living in the valley)
Anxiety/Hyperawareness - (Whole life)
General joint inflammation - (started in hands/wrists in middle school, low-back in high school, it will move around to knees and other joints, but primarily stays in those two spots)
Chronic low back pain with occasional sciatica - (Since my last childbirth 4 years ago)
Torn right rotator cuff (3 years ago but has healed on it's own really well, only flares up once in awhile!)
Today I had -
Breakfast - Peanut butter and celery
Lunch - Bag of skinny pop
Snack - I made homemade salsa with corn chips
Dinner - 2 grilled chicken tenderloins with grilled zucchini
