August 2, 2021 Day 22
Another decent day! I skipped breakfast again and I just can't help it. I also worked today so I skipped lunch as well, but did good drinking water! I found a new brand of water yesterday at Roth's called Hint and it's actually really good so far. Today I tried pineapple infused water and it was good.
As the day turned into evening my upper back/shoulder/spine joints were flared up and angry for sure and I certainly began to feel quite fatigued. I need to fold clothes but my shoulders are on fire for some reason. I was reminded today while chatting with a client/friend (they are each the same for me! :))! That my sleep has actually been really good. I don't take melatonin anymore because I am sure there is some tasty sugar or fake sugar in the yummy little dissolvable tablets. I have been able to fall asleep fairly easily though and stay asleep for the most part until Xavier wanders in for his snuggles and last couple hours of sleep around 3am. Haha.
Breakfast - Skipped
Lunch - Skipped
Snack - Popcorn and chips and salsa
Dinner - Scrambled eggs with some left over cubed potatoes from Saturday evening and salsa
Not the best of food choices besides the eggs! :( Not the dirtiest of course either, but just about all vegetables and chicken sounds so unappetizing to me! I will not eat the salsa tomorrow as it will be past the 24 hours of freshness and I won't have potato either as these are not regular habits I tend to indulge in, although it is becoming a pattern for me to "cheat" with some of these foods that I should really wait another week or 2 for. Also - my bathroom trips are back to few and far between...who knows! Maybe once I hit the max dose on the herbs that department will get better. I need to mentally refocus as well, as I haven't been practicing mindfulness in the evenings or taking hot soaks when I feel I need it (like tonight).
