July 22, 2021 Day 11
So this blogging thing at night has been a fail this week! But I did take some notes last night so I wouldn't forget about my day yesterday and things to share!
I was down two pounds when I woke up yesterday, so total so far is 10 pounds and 7 ounces to be exact, but what is exact really?? I am still feeling fairly mellow for the most part, but I'll see how I handle group/spouse drinking scenarios as time goes on. I can get a bit irritable sometimes in those situations, even when I am participating in the drinking, so I'll be curious how that rolls out. I forgot to mention that I have had my first "cheat" if we want to call it that. I am very dedicated to these kinds of things so I typically don't cheat in anyway, but I made a couple exceptions. I can't imagine I will cheat with any kid of sugar (although I want some! Brownies have been made twice in my house this week and they smelled and looked so amazing!) My "cheats" are almost laughable but I still have to come clean. When I used my air fryer I made organic Trader Joe's french fries for Tony and the kids and read the ingredients which were simply - organic potatoes. I had to try one, as I've never used the air fryer before. I may have had 4, but no more. The next day when we went to the river I had bought these new organic potato chips for Tony to try. They were called Spudlove and they looked great! Again super basic ingredients like potatoes and sunflower oil. I again tried no more than 4 probably. So while I didn't go off the rails or anything and potato isn't the worst thing I could be cheating with, I shouldn't have potatoes at the moment (he will add them back in someday), I had them none the less.
I have 4 appointments back to back today so I'll see how my fatigue is (lately once I hit 3 I'm feeling pretty done). I have noticed my hands at night are feeling better and I haven't slept with my gloves on this week one time. My wrist was a tiny sore yesterday but we also went bowling, so that could be why.
The other 'side effects' if that is what I should call them are super dry mouth, even though I'm drinking a ton of water. Carbonation seems to help. I fear I have the worst herb breath ever! Again, carbonation seems to help, or so I hope it does. Dry mouth comes with chapped lips. I'm trying to remember to bring chapstick with me every where I go.
I had the following to eat for the day:
Breakfast - 2 eggs
Lunch Couple hand fulls of seeds and a hard boiled egg
Dinner - Nothing. I wasn't hungry. I tried to heat up a plate but ended up putting it all back and I had a handful of peanuts (they are approved, but I'm trying to do NO NUTS, but I knew I needed something for my body)
