July 25, 2021 Day 14
Gah! Broken record cheater this weekend! No sugar! No processed foods, again nothing major! We had friends up to swim and I did good until dinner...again. I'll share more later. My headache last night got worse, which I'm not surprised and almost deserve it the way I've just kind of been so lax this weekend! Silly!! But I boiled eggs today and made more sparkling water and am ready for the week and my upper dosage tomorrow on my herbs!
Breakfast - again I had to eat late b/c I just wasn't hungry! I had one scrambled egg
Lunch - Celery and tiny bites of organic peanut butter (this may be what I live on this week as it's truly about the only thing that sounds good!
Dinner - My plan was to just do chips and salsa. In Patrick's paperwork it says day of homemade salsa is ok and so is corn chips/corn tortillas, etc. IN my case given it's my first month and I was being super strict, I was doing ZERO nuts (peanuts are allowed by him as well) and ZERO corn stuff. SO I took advantage tonight since we went to Mexican and stuff with just chips/salsa and to order dinner I got nachos but with super light cheese (although they didn't quite listen) and there was sour cream and gauc. so I did eat it. Same as last night though I didn't go crazy. I ate it non the less and it all still counts as cheats but the quantity was small.
Symptoms today included a nasty cramp that I get every so often that is debilitating for several seconds up to a few minutes. I haven't had one in a long time, but I got one today. It thankfully lasted about 3 minutes then was gone but I was down for the count during that time. Ugh. They are brutal. I thought I had an allergy/reaction to almonds a few summers ago whenever I was snacking on the yummy chocolate almonds, I seemed to be woken up at night with this cramps, so I quit almonds and haven't really had one in months probably. Could be the peanuts or the potatoes or just my stomach cleaning house still? I have no idea. But I'm paying attention and taking notes here for sure! I think if I was told to never eat - (____) insert any food, every again and I'd never have that cramp again, I'd strongly consider it, especially if it wasn't one of my fav treats, like peanut butter!!!
My plan this week is lots of celery, lots of water, hard boiled eggs and maybe soy milk if my stomach is still not feeling like eating much. To be continued :)
