July 28th, 2021 Day 17
Not much to report today besides more headache stuff! I think it's because I have had some foods that Patrick says I shouldn't. While some of them are "allowed" like peanuts on the allowed to eat list, I was trying to avoid them personally. Today I started a new-ish, kind of job and we went out to lunch. I told the guy that was training me not to focus at all on my food needs and I would figure it out or skip lunch and not to worry. He was so kind we ended up at a place with multiple options and he picked Qdoba over MOD pizza and Jersey Mikes. I figured I could find something there so he didn't have to eat alone. I didn't have any chips! I was proud about that! I ended up getting this new bowl called a cauliflower-mash bowl. So I skipped the rice and cheese and added lettuce and I didn't eat it all. It was mainly veggies and their grilled chicken. Hopefully no sugar in any of it, but who knows what is in their chicken seasonings or marinade. I also did not get any sour cream, but it did have avocado in it. Again it's not like I ate a cupcake or anything, but it's still not edamame and scrambled eggs either. My energy has been just fine today which is nice and overall I feel fine. My back has it's normal aches/pains. I do think my hands/wrists are still doing really great! I haven't been wearing my gloves every night which has been a super nice change. The Zevia drinks are also almost just way too sweet for me now. I enjoy the flavors and the hydration but I probably won't buy anymore and just do my own sparkling water and lemon. Since I can't handle the Zevia drink/sweetness I wonder if I even were to have a cupcake if that would be way too sweet I wouldn't even like it! haha - wishful thinking I'm sure! I got the kids Ciddici's pizza tonight and refrained of course, but it sure smelled delicious!
Breakfast - 1 Hard boiled egg
Lunch - Qdoba Cauli-Mash Bowl
Dinner - Handful of skinny pop, celery and peanut butter (the skinny pop is not on "my list" but corn is an approved food item, I just really shouldn't be eating it right now in this first month)
